Anika Bañez serves as a Newsletter Team Member for Interact District 5320, reporting to Communications Director Olivia Livadas. As a member of the district communications team, Anika supports the creation and publication of the district newsletter, working closely with Interact clubs to highlight service projects, leadership initiatives, and important district updates while helping advance the district's mission.
To me, “Service Above Self” means that putting your community before yourself is something that everyone needs to do in order to create the sense of unity that everyone looks for in their area. Service not only brings people together, but betters the environment that people live in, which is something that can only be achieved when everyone works together. Every single person has a role to play, and Interact is the perfect example of how people can come together to create something wonderful.
